 30.01.2012 NEW SIGNING: ALL TRAYS FOR VENOM In the beginning of April All Trays For Venom releases the album “Burned By Blackend Sun” all over Europe. The album is recorded in Dead Rat Studios with Jacob Bredahl (As We Fight, Exmortem, The Kandidate, and more) as producer, so it’s no surprise that you get 12 songs where aggressiveness is cultivated with hardcore screams, growls and clean vocals intertwined with fast as well as heavy riffs and thundering drums. Like the songs the production is in-your-face and aggressive which further complements the compositions of the songs. With the release of the very well received debut album, “Edge Of The Obscure”, the band has placed itself as one of the most noteworthy new acts on the Danish metal scene. GAFFA, Denmarks biggest music magazine, handed out 5 out of 6 stars and commented: “Edge Of The Obscure is without a doubt the best Danish metal album I have listened to this year”, and ended up as number 1 on reviewer Keld Rud’s ‘album of the year’ list for 2011. A similar rating was given by the newspaper Aarhus Stiftidende, who said: “A futuristic metallic tour de force, that shows monumental class…”. The album is also being well received abroad with very positive reviews in the biggest international metal media, which has led to Metal Hammer UK handpicking the band to participate in their showcase at the international festival South By Southwest (SXSW 2012) in Austin, Texas. The editor of Metal Hammer, Alexander Milas, comments: “We have deemed them to be of immense international import”. Dara Toibin from The Interbeing says: “This invitation from Metal Hammer makes us very proud, and it is undoubtedly the biggest event in the band’s history. The first will be held Saturday February 25th in Huset I Magstræde in Copenhagen. It starts at 9 PM and the entrance is free.
