Nine months, it has taken SAINT REBEL to record their debut album "The Battle Of Sinners And Saints" and with producer Marcus Toft (DAD, Carpark North) as a midwife and invigorating mix of Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Hatesphere), the band's five members put a precocious fry of a record out into the world that will do its part to finish first in class.
Out of a respectful rock heritage and with cocky ambition and solid musical craftsmanship - the five saint rebel’s has put out a record that attempts to represent and describe hard rock’s position in the decade. SAINT REBEL’s inspiration occurs in the dilemmas in the tension between the archetypes of humanity – the saint and the rebel - and in mans eternal search to balance the two sides. The dilemmas are interpreted in a raw musical framework that takes the listener seriously without being condescending and vulnerable without being emotional porn. It's rock compositions that look back in musical history and surprising vocalizations and tempo changes that looks forward that represent and characterize SAINT REBEL’s unique sound.
That playing music is a basic condition of life for the five band members becomes clear when SAINT REBEL is live on stage. Almost desperate and with a visible sincerity the band tear around the audience and sets their inner saints and rebels free – although they never forget to count to four and salute back to those who previously influenced the generations in the hard rock genre.
"The Battle Of Sinners And Saints" is released on Mighty Music via Target Distribution in Denmark and the rest of Europe on Monday 5th March 2012.

22.11.2011 THE INTERBEING RELEASES ANIMATED VIDEO FOR "TONGUE OF THE SOILED"
2011 has been a great year for the Danish modern metal act THE INTERBEING. The release of their debut album ‘Edge of the Obscure’ has spawned a lot of press coverage and top reviews from all over Europe. Now the band launches a new video for Tongue of the Soiled.
The video is created by the talented Korean artist Ihsu Yoon. The video is an animation with developing objects that symbolize thoughts and memories. The front singer Dara Toibin says about the video:
“We found the Korean artist Ihsu Yoon coincidentally on the internet by searching the best animation creators. We found several of his works and we agreed on co-operating on a video for a specific song which was Tongue of the Soiled. I thought this song would fit perfectly because the lyrics describe the development of thoughts and memories which takes shape. His material showed growth of something almost non-material into material and this was inspiring. The video shows a sphere of matter which develops and reaches its climax and regresses into the state of birth. We’re very pleased with the result.”

Danmarks ældste (og eneste?) metalpladeselskab Mighty Music åbner endnu engang dørene op for de spirende, danske metaltalenter. Efter succeen i maj måned, der bød på et propfyldt The Rock, og hvor Contrition løb med sejren om en pladeudgivelse produceret af Jacob Hansen, er vi nu klar med en ny og toptunet omgang, der på alle punkter vil overgå det første shows succes.
MIGHTY FIGHT NIGHT er et koncept og en begivenhed, der sætter fokus på den danske metalscene gennem et storstilet show med nogle af de mest lovende danske metalbands. Showet finder sted på det for nyligt ombyggede spillested Pumpehuset og under disse fantastiske rammer finder MIGHTY FIGHT NIGHT sted lørdag d. 14. januar 2012. Alle danske metalbands kan deltage i talentkonkurrencen og det er egentlig såre simpelt at tilmelde sig. Herefter håndplukker Mighty Music tre bands til at optræde i Pumpehuset d. 14. januar. Det er hér kampen for alvor går i gang, da de tre bands skal dyste om intet mindre end en mulighed for at optræde på næste års danske metalfestival COPENHELL samt en minitour i foråret på tre danske spillesteder. Optræden på COPENHELL sker på festivalens upcoming-scene.
I dommerpanelet i Pumpehuset d. 14. januar vil nogle af de mest erfarne branchefolk inden for metal sidde og bedømme de tre bands og deres performance. Dommerpanelet består af repræsentanter fra COPENHELL, Pumpehuset, DR og Mighty Music. Vurderingen vil blive todelt, så dommerne har 50 % medbestemmelse, mens publikum også får 50 % medbestemmelse igennem stemmesedler, der bliver udleveret ved døren.
Udover de 3 acts, der skal kæmpe om den store præmie, vil Contrition, Pitchblack og Siamese Fighting Fish levere underholdningen. Contrition vandt sidste Might Fight Night, og Pitchblack vandt LiveNations konkurrence på dette års COPENHELL om at optræde på Download Festivalen til sommer.

Det københavnske metalband THE INTERBEING har haft et bragende godt 2011 med udgivelsen af ”Edge of the Obscure”. Både i ind- og udland har albummet scoret topkarakterer i utallige medier. Herhjemme skrev Gaffa: ”Edge Of The Obscure er uden tvivl det bedste danske metalalbum, jeg har hørt i år.” og tildelte det 5 ud af 6 stjerner. Det samme gjorde sig gældende i Århus Stiftstidende med kommentaren: ”En futuristisk-metallisk kraftpræstation, der vidner om uhyggelig høj klasse...”. Internationalt formåede bandet bl.a. at få en 8 ud af 10 anmeldelse i et af Europas største metal magasin, Metal Hammer UK, med dertil tilhørende 2 siders artikel om bandet.
THE INTERBEING går en lysende tid i møde og har store planer for 2012. For at fejre dette vil der blive udskænket iskolde Jägermeister shots til de førstkommende til årets sidste show i København d. 25 november på KB18 i Kødboderne. Denne aften har bandet inviteret det fremadstormede Schweiziske industrial metalband BREACH THE VOID og det progressive Københavnske metalband PSY:CODE med til festlighederne. Alt i alt en tonstung aften i det bedste selskab!
After touring heavily this summer Scarred by Beauty now lifts the veil for yet another massive tour through Europe, this time including the bands first shows in UK .
This summer the Danish five-piece toured in the Benelux, GAS, Balkans and Scandinavia. On their summer tour the band functioned as support for THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, SWORN ENEMY and FOR THE FALLEN DREAMS amongst others.
On their autumn campaign Scarred by Beauty will perform in UK, BENELUX, GAS, THE BALTICS, BALKAN, SCANDINAVIA, CHECH REPUBLIC, SLOVAKIA and ITALY.
After this tour the band will begin the process of writing material for their next album to follow up their album debut “Sutra”, which was released summer 2011.
Når Alter Bridge gæster Jylland lørdag d. 12. november på Godset i Kolding, er det med danske Malrun som support.
Malrun udtaler selv: ”Rent musikalsk er det et perfekt match med Malrun og Alter Bridge, der begge kombinerer tyngde med gode melodier, og vi skal nok gøre vores for at prøve at sætte gang i festen den aften. På det personlige plan er jo en drengedrøm at spille sammen med sine egne idoler, og både Creed og Alter Bridge har kørt nærmest non-stop i vores hovedtelefoner siden vi lærte hvad der var op og ned på en guitar. Det bliver ikke meget større end at skulle stå på de skrå brædder sammen med Mark Tremonti og Myles Kennedy osv.”
Malrun går allerede i oktober måned i studiet hos Jacob Hansen for at indspille deres andet album, som kan forventes udgivet i februar 2012. Desuden kan Malrun allerede d. 8. oktober opleveres live i København til Denmark Rock Festival på The Rock.
