| Februar 2010: Lancering af TARGET LABEL NIGHTS i påsken |

Lige siden Target Distributions spæde start i sommeren 2003 har selskabet haft vokseværk og forgrenet sig i en paraply af selskaber – alle med fundament i kærligheden til musik og formidlingen af den. Target Distribution administrerer en af Danmarks største musikbutikker på nettet, Targetshop.dk, derudover findes der de tre pladeselskaber Target Records, Tactic Records og Mighty Music under Targets tag, for slet ikke at nævne inhouse koncertarrangør-firmaet Target Booking. Senest er magasinet Target Mag blevet etableret.
I påsken slår Target således dørene op til den storslåede fest, TARGET LABEL NIGHTS, hvor selskabets tre pladeselskaber letter en smule på låget for, hvad der er i vente i 2010. Henover tre dage vil 11 fede bands og en masse spændende DJ’s sætte gang i det nye spillested Råhuset på Onkel Dannys Plads 7 på Vesterbro. TARGET LABEL NIGHTS skal ikke blot fungere som et udstillingsvindue overfor såvel medie- og branchefolk som publikum, men også som en tilbagevendende, non-profit begivenhed, der skal tilføje kant til det danske musikmiljø.
Torsdag d. 1. april tilhører Targets metal-label Mighty Music, der blev grundlagt tilbage i 1997 og siden har udgivet mere end 30 albums med anerkendte bands fra både ind- og udland, her iblandt Artillery, Raunchy, A Kid Hereafter In The Grinding Light, Exmortem, Panzerchrist og Thorium. Efter et udgivelsesløst år for Mighty Music i 2009 er selskabet tilbage med hele tre udgivelser i starten af 2010. Det drejer sig om debutalbums fra Anoxia, Invisius og Psy:code, tre af Danmarks uden tvivl mest lovende navne på metalscenen. Programmet for torsdag d. 1. april ser således ud:

Fredag d. 2. april står i den mere alternative rock og pops tegn, når Targets indie-label Tactic Records præsenterer et lille udvalg af husets bedste og aktuelle kunstnere. Tactic Records er et label under Target, som især henvender sig til den alternative del af den spirende danske musikundergrund. Tactic Records blev grundlagt i 2007 og har siden forestået udgivelser i samarbejde med navne som bl.a. Decorate. Decorate., Death To Frank Ziyanak, Lily Electric, Ibrahim Electric og senest The Bronson Brothers og My Evil Twin. Programmet for fredag d. 2. april ser således ud:

Lørdag d. 3. april er det så tid til at Target Distributions eget rock pladeselskab Target Records sætter gang i festen. Hér staves rock med stort R, om det så gælder bands med stort kommercielt potentiale eller den hårdtslående undergrund. Følgende kunstnere arbejder p.t. sammen med Target Records; The Storm, Rock Hard Power Spray, The Floor Is Made Of Lava, Oliver Weers, Karma Cowboys og Stella Blackrose, imens flere nye signinger offentliggøres allerede i første halvår af 2010. Programmet for lørdag d. 3. april ser således ud:

Danish ANOXIA was formed in 1996, and the band’s unique brand of melodic thrash metal was acknowledged in April 2007 when ANOXIA was chosen to play at the international music festival Bilbao Rocks in Bilbao, Spain. The festival’s jury unanimously decided that ANOXIA had a cool and new sound. ANOXIA was actually close to cancelling the gig due to an airline strike but determined to play the gig – and after more than 10 hours spent in European airspace – ANOXIA set foot in Bilbao 1½ hours before showtime. Since then the band has supported international acts such as Krokus and W.A.S.P. locally. Finally ANOXIA’s debut “A Lapdance For The Devil” is ready for release. The album was conceived in Jailhouse Studio with the helping hands of the Danish producer legend Tommy Hansen (Helloween, Pretty Maids, Hatesphere).
”A Lapdance For The Devil” will be released in Denmark on February 1st 2010, and in the rest of Europe in May/June 2010.

Danish INVISIUS was formed in 2006 and the young guys hasn’t looked back since then. The band has supported established Danish acts such as As We Fight, Mnemic and Dawn Of Demise; they have released two demos; won the “Talent Of The Year” award at the official Danish Metal Awards 2007; and last but not least they have contributed music to the animation feature ”Sunshine Barry & The Disco Worms” premiering in 27 countries worldwide in 2008. Now INVISIUS is ready to unleash their Jacob Hansen/Christian Bonde produced debut ”The Spawn Of Condemnation”, a beast that is bound to create a name internationally for INVISIUS within death/thrash metal.
”The Spawn Of Condemnation” will be released in Denmark on March 1st 2010, and in the rest of Europe in May/June 2010. |

Danish PSY:CODE was formed in 2002 and has supported eg. Gorefest and Konkhra locally. The big breakthrough for PSY:CODE came in the fall of 2008 when the band won the ”15 Minutes Of Fame” contest supported by Danish National Radio and Live Nation. Out of 3000 votes on five bands PSY:CODE scored more than 33% of all votes and therefore won the honor of supporting Slayer in front of 6000 rabid Danish fans. Since then PSY:CODE has been busy shaping their debut ”Delusion”, mixet and mastered in the renowned Hansen Studios. PSY:CODE describe their unique brand of metal and hardcore as ”progressive bounce metal”, most easily explained by a myriad of influences including Devin Townsend, Gojira and Korn.

The History of Mighty Music
MIGHTY MUSIC was established in 1997 by Bjarke Ahlstrand og Michael H. Andersen and in the years 1998 to 2004 over 30 releases saw the light of day. The MIGHTY MUSIC rooster have unleashed Danish acts like Artillery, Raunchy, Panzerchrist, Iniquity and Sacrificial as well as international bands as Dim Mak (USA), Sludge (Switzerland) Nephasth (Brazil), Beheaded (Malta), Taetre (Sweden) and Anasarca (Germany). The focus of MIGHTY MUSIC has always been and will always be on extreme metal. The more alternative releases saw the light of day on the sub label Drug(s). The powers behind MIGHYY MUSIC have been a part of the international metal scene since 1990 and have built up an international network resulting in distribution and license deals all over the world. In 2006 MIGHTY MUSIC was brought back to life (death, actually).
