Mighty Magazine arised from the ashes of two of Scandinavia's oldest and most respected underground fanzines; Michael H. Andersen's Emanzipation & Bjarke Ahlstrand's Nagual. The two former rivalries joined forces in 1996 and Mighty Magazine became a fact. The first bunch of issues were English written and costed a few bucks a piece. Then, a couple of years ago the two editors found themselves extremely busy running their own label (Mighty Music in case you hadn't guessed) and asked a few other Danish metal "celebrities" to participate in the creative process. This also meant a language change. From issue # 11 - 13, Mighty Magazine was written in Danish - and available for FREE.

But once again things are gonna change, as the ever creative editors have decided to switch back to English in order to increase the print run (last issue was printed in 3000 copies). So from issue # 14 and forth, the magazine is English written again. We sell the magazine for postage costs only.

We've decided to keep the magazine underground oriented as it's where we have our background - and passion. So we still recommend bands, signed as well as unsigned to send material for review. Remember there might also be a record deal lurking somewhere if we think you're fucking killer...
