Rising from the ashes of the legendary RIPPING CORPSE, Dim Mak is a formidable musical force that has taken their untouchable style of death metal/cobracore to new levels of endurance & discipline. After several years crossing the abyss, former Ripping Corpse members Scott Ruth, Shaune Kelley, & Brandon Thomas re-ignited their hate reactor with the addition of bassist Dennis Carroll and formed Dim Mak. Named after the deadliest form of martial art otherwise known as the "death point striking" & "poison hands," Dim Mak continues to play an endless number of shows in the NY/NJ area on their scorched earth mission towards enlightenment through annihilation. After releasing their first cd Enter The Dragon on Dies Irae Productions in 1999 they continued to dispense truth through fist and sweat to their growing army of death touch disciples. Dim Mak has rightfully garnered much respect from the extreme metal press home and abroad as well. Never a band prone to rest, they jumped back into the trenches and crafted the material for their soon to be released second cd titled "Intercepting Fist". Recorded in Florida by former Ripping Corpse/current Morbid Angel guitarist Erik Rutan, this cd features Dim Mak's trademark intricate multispeed song structures played with high velocity aggression.
